The early years
I started developing long before mobile, cloud, or AI became everyday topics. That experience taught me that technologies change, but good principles remain.
About · Didier Boelens · Flutteris
I am Didier Boelens, founder of Flutteris. For more than thirty years, I have designed, developed, structured, and brought digital projects back on track. Since 2018, Flutter has been one of my major areas of expertise. Today, I help SMEs turn mobile ideas, AI projects, and fragile prototypes into publishable, maintainable, useful solutions.
What this page is really about
This page is not meant to list technologies, dates, or logos. It explains what you get when you work with me: senior technical experience, the ability to simplify complicated subjects, and real attention to what happens after the demo.
A prototype can impress. A product in production has to hold up.
From early projects to Flutteris
I started developing long before mobile, cloud, or AI became everyday topics. That experience taught me that technologies change, but good principles remain.
I have worked in very different environments: large organizations, SMEs, startups, product teams, business applications, mobile platforms, and internal systems.
In 2018, I adopted Flutter early. I wrote, tested, explained, and experimented extensively, becoming recognized as an expert by a broad international community.
Flutteris grew from that experience: helping companies design, build, and evolve solid mobile applications without losing sight of product reality.
With i-Discover, I brought together Flutter, back-end, data, semantic search, RAG, multilingual content, user experience, and operations in a complete product.
Why it matters
My role is often to bring order back: understand the problem, identify what really matters, and choose the right first scope.
A demo is not enough. What matters is what can be used, maintained, secured, and improved.
Some projects are blocked, fragile, or poorly documented. The task is to understand, stabilize, secure, prioritize, then decide what deserves to be kept or rewritten.
Good support is not about drowning clients in technical detail. It is about making decisions clearer.
What I do now
I design, build, and evolve Flutter mobile applications for iOS and Android with a healthy, clear, maintainable base.
I help SMEs identify the right AI use cases, avoid hype, launch a useful first pilot, then structure rules and adoption.
I work on no-code, FlutterFlow, vibe-coded, or unstable MVP projects that need to get back on the path to production.
Simple. Concrete. Secure.
Goals, constraints, team, budget, urgency, and the real blocker.
A first scope small enough to control and useful enough to prove something.
Care for quality, maintainability, security, and user experience.
Test, fix, document, measure, and adjust after delivery.
Make choices understandable to avoid unnecessary dependency.
No overselling
I do not promise that AI will replace your team, that a prototype generated in a few hours is ready for customers, or that an application can evolve sustainably without architecture. I propose looking at the situation clearly, identifying what can really create value, and moving forward step by step.
